Although the floods were more than two months ago, some in Massachusetts are still dealing with the after math. There are citizens who still cannot move back into their homes and others who must live amongst the ongoing repairs.
Several agencies are doing their best to help. All citizens – even if they have not heard back from their insurers – must register their claims with FEMA by the 28th of May. Also it is suggested that citizens sign up for low-interest disaster-recovery loans being offered through the Small Business Administration. Through these venues people may be able to receive help for long term recovery services include medical expenses, clothing and dehumidifiers.
