Ocean Policy Forum
The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the Departments of Defense, the Interior and Homeland Security invite you to a Town Hall forum for ocean stakeholders in New England on President Obama’s new National Policy for the Stewardship of the Ocean, our Coasts, and the Great Lakes. The forum will provide an overview of the new policy, which brings a comprehensive approach to preserving the ocean, coasts and the Great Lakes and their abundant natural resources. It also identifies nine priority objectives that will be pursued to support the National Policy, including ecosystem-based management, coastal and marine spatial planning, and water quality and sustainable practices on land.Featured speakers:
