Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD)

OVERVIEW: VOAD is a coalition of member organizations made up of non-profits, religious groups, and other entities that respond to disasters. There are roughly 50 national members and as well as state and local entities. The coalition’s goal is to foster more effective service through communication, coordination, cooperation, and collaboration by providing convening mechanisms and outreach for all people and organizations involved in disasters.

TIMETABLE: If you are a disaster service provider or a regional planner you would benefit from having a working relationship with VOAD on the appropriate scale.
